We have several, ever-evolving processes in place that increase efficiencies from the submission of your order to manufacturing and its delivery to you which decreases your costs and our waste. We strive to create processes which add value to our customers.
COM/COL RECEIVING: Every roll of COM and every hide of COL is inspected from end-to-end for defects and to ensure yardage requirements have been met in an effort to prevent order delays. We also inspect COM/COL in advance to notify our customers if we feel that a textile may not upholster to our quality standards on a specific design. For your convenience we've created a fabric database on-line at www.brayton.com to assist you when specifying. Fabric evaluations are available to reduce yardage requirements if applicable and approve fabrics in advance of ordering.
WOOD FINISHING: State-of-the-art 11 step finishing process ensures a high quality, durable finish. The environment is virtually dust-free and the pace is controlled allowing adequate time for each step.
PRODUCT TESTING: Internal product testing facilities allow us to meet or exceed ANSI/BIFMA testing standards on our seating products. The testing area operates 24 hours a day, constantly testing our new product introductions and existing designs for continuous improvement. Internal testing also enables us to conduct special requirement testing quickly.
LEAN MANUFACTURING: This philosophy is employed throughout the facility improving our processes and reducing delays. Our Operations team meets daily to discuss any issues before they arise, and quickly resolve to preserve lead time.
COMMUNICATION: Our office programming was designed to increase interaction between key support areas which greatly influences our ability to quickly shift gears for our customers. By promoting communication, low panels and open spaces with a variety of meeting spaces are the physical result, and improved order fulfillment times are the benefit to business.
