Product Engineer - Textile Applications Interface with the Customer Service and Manufacturing Teams to develop new and maintain existing operational processes for textile applications. New processes shall include objective methodology for predetermination of textile application characteristics on upholstered products. Routinely perform audits of processes to ensure the desired accuracy is achieved. Identify, communicate and assist to quickly rectify textile application problems identified during audits and as they occur. Establish, monitor and perform trend analyses of manufacturing operational indicators related to textile application issues and recommend corrective actions to promote a continual improvement environment that addresses deficiencies. Provide technical expertise on industry best practices that promotes competitive technologies and procedures to achieve efficient and quality delivery of products to our customers. Be the textile applications expert and provide direction accordingly. Should demonstrate strong leadership skills and lead by example. Ability to handle multipule tasks, deadlines, and conflicting needs of various internal customers to provide external customers with a superior experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software. You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity. Bachelor of Science degree in textile studies preferred. Associate degree with supporting work experience in textile production/applications within manufacturing environment required.
