Corporate Level Environmental Criteria

Brayton International’s Natural Resources Environmental Policy is to:

  • Manage our operations with an awareness that our goal is to help protect the natural resources by utilizing the best control procedures, processes, and mechanisms which are proven technically sound and economically feasible.
  • Comply with all environmental laws, regulations, ordinances and implement self-monitoring to assure compliance and seek out ways to go beyond what is expected.
  • Maintain a natural resources protection coordinator to review, advise, coordinate, and execute environmental activities and programs.
  • Consider the expense of natural resources protection as a legitimate cost of doing business.
  • Train our employees in environmental matters, actions, and responsibilities relative to their job assignments.

Environmental Awareness Statement:

At Brayton, we are a proud partner in both the well being of society and the sound growth of our economy. We are sensitive to the impact our manufacturing operations can have on our natural resources. After all, the corporation is a citizen too, comprised of people who not only work here, but also live in this environment. For Brayton, being a good citizen environmentally is just as important as being a good economic company.

Brayton considers it a privilege to use our public resources (air, water, land) as some of the critical inputs to our manufacturing operations. We are committed to utilizing these natural resources in a socially responsible manner.

How Policy is implemented:

  • From the design concept of a product, the environmental impact is considered.
  • Lean manufacturing concepts reduce material waste.
  • Strong supplier partnerships and supply chain management concepts deliver the highest quality components that are also manufactured responsibly.
  • Brayton maintains a natural resources protection coordinator to review, advise, coordinate, and execute environmental activities and programs.
