Reduce VOCs/HAPs

  • Water-based contact adhesive (one of the first in North Carolina to convert all operations).
  • Wood stains, sealers, lacquers have low HAPs.

Reduce Waste

  • Lean manufacturing concepts increase efficiency while decreasing raw material waste.
  • Brayton has been recognized with two major engineering awards from “UDM – Under the Covers” for innovation in plywood tab construction.

Training

  • In addition to ongoing training of on-site employees about environmental issues, sales representatives from across the US and Canada receive formal training each year about the value of green and Brayton’s progress in key areas.
