Supplier Compliance
Brayton suppliers manage their operations to minimize environmental impact. From textiles to granite; plastic components to polyurethane foams; and powdercoats to wood products, great effort is made to reduce, reuse and recycle. Specific examples include:
- Textiles: All Brayton specified textiles comply with EPA requirements and contain no ozone depleting chemicals. Cattle raised without barbed wire fencing provide maximum yield leather hides. Chrome-free leather is made available to our clients.
- Granite: All water used in the manufacturing process is a closed loop system.
- Plastics: Supplier complies with OSHA standards and recycled hydraulic oils used to produce the 100% recyclable plastic.
- Powdercoats: Meet the EPA's strictest Clean Air Act standards.
- Wood Parts: Wood residues from processing and trimming are recycled into local markets for wood energy.
Packaging materials
- Brayton's seating products require minimal packing waste. Our products are easily installed. Whenever possible, shipments are consolidated to minimize the environmental impact of transportation.
- We utilize the best packaging system of today's technology for commercial trucks. Cartons are produced from a renewable resource including the highest recycled content possible while maintaining the structural integrity of the carton. Our packaging provides cost efficient protection that is recyclable and biodegradable.
- Anywaste generated from the manufacture of our cartons is compacted into bales and recycled into corrugated medium and reused.
